Robert Mužika-Tot aka Robbie M. was born in 1985, in the city of Novi Sad, Serbia. Even though his environment was extremely non-musical, his interest in music started at a very early age. Captivated by the sounds of Kraftwerk, J.M. Jarre, Yazoo, Prodigy, Apollo 440, Daft Punk and later by Israel's psychedelic trance artists, he began recording tunes from the radio and making his own mixtapes. This slowly evolved towards a love for techno music which became popular in clubs he was visiting at that time. His love for DJing started during these years. As vinyl was fairly hard to find, he started using various DJ softwares, which were absolutely fascinating to him. Around 2005, techno became too much for him and he took up an interest in melodic house music.
Nowdays, his focus is mainly on progressive house but in his sets he tends to blend a variety of styles together. Depending on the mood, his mixes can lead from pumping "full on" progressive through tech-tribal all the way to slow, deep and dark vibes. The one thing that is always present is "melody". This is what ultimately gives a driving energy to his sets.
In the last couple of years, his mixes were featured on well known radio stations like Frisky Radio, Proton, Pure.FM, Danceradio.gr and more... Since July 2009, he hosts his own monthly radio show called "Let's talk PROGRESSIVE" on InsomniaFM (www.insomniafm.com) alongside his good friend Synthax from Hungary. The show's aim is to present upcoming DJ's/producers from the region and promote local talent to the world!

Scheduled on InsomniaFM: Friday, July 29th at 19:00 GMT+1
