Petar Trajkovic aka "Dj Manatee" was born on October 26, 1983 in the city of Nish, Serbia. In his childhood, his music taste was under the influence his older sister.  Even at his early age, he was familiar with such artists as Metallica, G'N'R, Rolling Stones, Sex pistols, U2, etc. In that manner, his affection towards music had retained throughout the childhood.  The major turning point in his music orientation came when he bought his first PC and acquired some music in the form of mp3 format.  When he heard the beautiful tune "Silence" by the producer "Randy Katana", that moment changed his musical perspective forever. EDM became his "weapon of choice", preferably trance.

In 2002 he united with a friend, and the first parties began.  They kept in mind that the genre of music they preferred the most was not actually popular in their hometown, so the duo adjusted their style in accordance with the crowd, and therefore in the beginning they played mostly house, filter and progressive.

Under a variety of different names, they played in all local clubs and with all local djs. During the year of 2006 they became fed up with the monotony of the musical scene in their hometown.  Consequently, he and his fellow dj "Dj Human" formed an organisation known as Discopolis, which music orientation was mainly progressive trance and progressive house. Nowdays, with the spreading popularity of trance, the growing number of djs and producers, Discopolis's dream of polularization of trance in their hometown is becomming closer to reality every day.
